Hi, I’m Enrique, I also saw the story on 7 news, prior to this i had already quit drinking,  I’ve been off alcohol for 2 months now and going very strong. I woke up one morning in April with a nasty hangover thinking to myself what happened last night, how can this be classified as fun? Also not to mention that night I was  involved in an alcohol fueled argument over nothing, this was the turning point for me.

I’ve been a keen runner for the last 2 years however i’m now seeing how much of a hindrance alcohol is on your fitness.  I used to love to have my cake and eat it too (drink and do distance running) however you can go alot harder and further without the hindrance of binge drinking.
