Just thought that I would post some good news, after many discussions I have finally persuaded my wife to join me for the 3 months with HSM. I am very proud of her as it is a big deal as she is/ was a bigger drinker than I. With us working together I am confident of success. I have also had many discussions with other family members including my parents, aunties & uncles who do seem interested but I don’t think are ready to make the commitment. I am hoping that after seeing the difference in my wife & I they might change their mind. I believe as a family we are moving in the right direction.

New Years 2012

First day off drinking, I enjoyed myself last night before the big 3 months off. I went to a few friends places & then to the local pub. As they were counting down I finished my last alcoholic beverage. I can proudly say that even after all of the pressure from people to have a beer or something alcoholic, I did not give in & drank water from 1159 and am now excited and ready for the challange of giving up alcohol for 3 months.
