Weekly Re-Cap 3 +’s 1. I saw the fun in the ’normal’ activities – like Random Breath testing. 2. I assisted with the capture and destroy of the evergrowing problem of the local pest ‘Caramello Koala’s’ on a near-daily basis. 3. Drinking and Modern Love (aka Internet Dating) As well as flying there seems to be a few other of life’s activities that should come with a bottle warning. Take for example ‘Looking for Mr Right (now)’, it’s a long and strenuous journey trying to find him and you will need to have all your wikapedia wits about you. So they say that drinking and driving is a bad combination but what about drinking and flying? It was 6am on a Sunday morning, mid December, mid London, mid winter, mid party. My brother and I are 4 hours away from boarding the first flight on our 24 hour trip back to oz for xmas. Like most parties in London, the one we were at was just getting started. Its time to set off to the airport I remember thinking and being the responsible older sister I am I tell my brother to neck his drink and grab a cold one. So I’m 3% of the way into my target of 100 days and my life sober ain’t all that exciting. So I’ve decided to tell you about a few of my days when I’ve been on the other end of the soberstick. I’m sat in the departure lounge with my boyfriend of a year and we are about to embark on a 2 week adventure of southern Italy. I’ve decided now is the moment to announce that I’m not so sure about the relationship. Thats right, 5 minutes before we board on a 2 week holiday.
