Well I officially start no drinking tommorow but even last night, Saturday night I did not drink either. I was invited to go and have a few wines but instead went to my sisters and watched a movie. On the other hand, the man who is supposed to be my partner and the father of our baby went out who knows where, no doubt drinking. Apparently he loves me but isnt in love with me, doesnt want a relationship and is doing his own selfish thing. So even though Im not hung over, im not feeling too good either..

Starting tommorow!

Its kind of scary as I have a bit of concern that I wont be able to do this. I honestly dont think I have gone any longer than two weeks without drinking since I was 16. But now that Im actually thinking about things instead of just doing, thanks to this whole concept, I can see that I have had fun times drinking but also alot of dark times of getting so drunk that I have done really stupid things. One example was almost drowning when I was on a big downer, swimming in winter with all my clothes on then getting thrown out of the taxi and taken back to the motel by the police. Lucky they did\’nt lock me up for the night. So really what do I have to lose? It will be a good time to evaluate alot of things.

This might sound bad but I have decided to set my start date for Monday, after the weekend. I only have one can of scotch and coke in the fridge and half a bottle of cab merlo that I was given for my birthday and would like to enjoy them over the weekend. And I guess that is also a reason that it is important for me to start on Monday. Then I will have no more alcohol in the house and will have to rely on that thing called will power to stop me from getting more. And while Im at it, its bye bye cigarettes. Which is probably good because Im sure all smokers will agree that when your drinking, you can easily get through half or more of a packet. I am actually looking forward to my start date, it is a real test of personal strength because [...]
