Monday 16 January Beautiful warm sunny day here in Melbourne and I’m feeling great! I am finding this challenge quite easy at the moment, as for the first time, I REALLY want to achieve my goals! When I have tried to go alcohol free before, I’ve found the first 2 weeks the hardest, but these last 2 weeks have flown and been a breeze! I’ve even enjoyed playing bar tender for everyone else and mixing up yummy Pimm’s jugs, G&Ts etc, without being remotely envious or wanting a sip! Whilst my family are not fully on board with Hello Sunday Morning, I have managed to get them off the wine and onto one or two nice pre-dinner cocktails with white spirits – MUCH cleaner! Week #2 – Schkinny Maninny Juice Detox!

Monday 9 January Still on SUCH a high from my excellent first week! My juice detox started today! I was VERY nervous about starting! I think like the alcohol-free thing, it is the willpower aspect that is scaring me… I want SO badly to complete the 5 day detox and the 100 days alcohol free not only for the health/weight benefits, but also so I can say to myself \”YES! You DID it!\” Anyway, the 6 juices for the day were delivered to my office – I will get a delivery every morning for 5 days. I have to say, that it is SO nice to not have to think about what I am having for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the associated grocery shopping! Looking forward to starting AT LEAST 3 months alcohol free!

Good Morning fellow HSMers! I have just signed up to begin 3 months alcohol free on New Year’s Day – I am very excited to be doing this in conjunction with HSM and blogging about the experience! It will keep me accountable and I look forward to reading what others are experiencing too! I am a 31 year old female and I’ve decided that enough is enough.  Here are my reasons: – I’ve noticed that from about 27, I have put on 8kgs.  This may or may not be entirely to do with alcohol, but I’m sure that it is a major factor.  I am by no means obese, but I just feel “puffed up”, my clothes don’t fit like they used to and it is making me really unhappy. I feel that I have “let myself go” and I want to arrest this weigh escalation before it is too late and [...]
