Dry July?

It\’s July 1st! For many people it’s the beginning of Dry July (or so Facebook tells me. ); it’s the beginning of a new financial year and what does it mean to me? Sitting at home watching ABC 24. WOOT! My partner finished work today for three weeks so having him at home drinking wine was something that I thought would present a challenge. Surprisingly I really didn\’t feel any desire for it. Just some good Indian food. I must admit that having not drunk any alcohol in a few weeks  (I\’ve only just started this though) I do kind of miss \”the buzz\”. Somethign to chill out too… Oh well.   Found out this evening that my auntie is one of those people doing Dry July. Let her know about this challenge to see if she’s interested. Guess we\’ll see! Later.

Day One Rambles…

Feeling like I should write an initial post right now. Something that I can look back up on in a years time to see where I was when I started this challenge. To lay out the ground work of who I am and what I’m about I should start with something pretty basic about myself I’m vegan. That’s right; I don’t eat or wear or use anything that harms an animal or relies on an animal to the best of my ability. Cool, right? I saw the Hello Sunday Morning project on The 7PM Project just under a week ago and thought that it was an awesome idea.
