    So here I am to weeks into my second HSM. Two weeks is starting to lose it’s meaning. Although I have registered for a year I am very much so leaning to the never going to drink again side of caution.  There is and I believe never will be a moderate way of drinking for me. The old bingeing habits creep back much to fast.      Second time around it has become apparent that a few others are also on their second crack at it. Took me three times before I said goodbye to the filthy habit of smoking. I think it will be the same for alcohol. I noticed on Moira blog last night that Allan Carr has a book out on stopping it.   Having completed a three month stint earlier this year…. it seems that I cannot control or moderate my drinking. After another messy weekend I am back again. Yesterday whilst feeling like an absolute piece of shit I thought a one year HSM was a good idea….    So here I go

     Thirteen weeks today since alcohol has passed my lips.    Outcomes?!   A new job… almost double the money!   New levels on their way with old job       Gained 2 kilograms   After months of going to the gym almost everyday.  Attracting good people and vibrations including some very interesting women.      Nearly 5 months now without a cigarette. Nearly all plans initiated are or have come to fruition. Sweet     I have worked out exactly how much money I would have spent during this period of abstinence on average and believe me it is quite a sum as I have drunk heavily in the past. So I have purchased in this time enough stainless steel equipment, hoses, burners, kegs, taps, grain, hops, fermentation devices, fridges, refractometer, demijohns etc etc to start my own personal brewery in my house in the forest.    Been a while hey!  Well am out in the desert again with the wet a brewing but not quite arriving each day, resulting in sweltering conditions. Lucky I have a hat   It has been Eleven weeks today since I have had a drink of alcohol. Really the time has flown by! Mostly due to the clarity from not being hungover all the time. So many new goals formulated and quite a few accomplished!  Have one day at home on thurday (Australia Day) and then fly back out here for another 12 days of work. Have been going to the gym here at the worksite every day and truly enjoying it (was there at 3.30 this morning) which is a change as I have never really been a gym type (not lazy just kept active in different ways) .     So to all the people that have signed up [...]

Hi there again! Been quite a while . Have been quite busy! I attribute this to HSM. If I hadn’t taken up a three month challenge with HSM I would most probably still jumping out of planes in the town that I live in, going home and drinking beer till I passed out and wondering why the fuck I don’t feel so great about life. So now sober and clear and cigarette free I have made some major changes including my job! I spent Christmas1000km west of the rainforest where my house is, in the desert near Lawn Hill working on a mine site. This change would not have been possible without HSM’s support.
