Having been one of the "fat kids" at high school, I actually hoped to get into better shape once I finished Year 12. I discovered bourbon, whiskey, scotch and beer (and numerous other things) during my late teens-early twenties so my goal to get built like one of my favourite Hollywood action movie heroes went out the window. Combining this with my obsession of junk food and I was turning into quite the blob. I don't want to become one of those morbidly obese people that you see on TV... nor do I want to rely solely on alcohol to have a goodtime when it comes to holidays, special occasions and the weekend (especially Saturday night). It's time for a change so no alcohol, combined with no junk and plenty of exercise will hopefully get me to my desired goal of looking nothing like I did during high school. 3 months of sobriety... I can do this.
