So, after my fourth bout of illness in as many months this semester, I’ve decided it’s time to do something drastic. As hard as I know it will be, I feel like a beak from drinking might help me recover and get my body working properly again. I also feel like it’s also an excuse to motivate myself in other areas: healthy eating, doing exercise, studying and decreasing my amount of time wasted online. I’m also planning on getting a job and saving up money for an overseas trip year — something which will be much easier if I cut back on all the bottles of vodka and sacks of goon burning a hole in my back pocket. If all goes to plan I’ll end the year feeling fitter and more confident, or at the very least free from constant recurring bouts of tonsillitis and influenza. I’m tired of being lazy, I’m [...]
