Nearly two weeks down and i’m lovin’ it, but here’s my weekend wrap up! Thursday: Well everyone knows in studentville that the weekend starts on Thursday. Thursday the sun was out and it was a mean as day, i was hanging with my mate Tarik and we got up on the roof of his flat and were getting our tan on, then we played touch and after that, it was another one of those what a nice time for a beer days and that’s exactly what my mates did, they were tempting me, hitting me with lines like “who is going to know?” “It’s only one” but i resisted temptation.. It has been officially a week, and I am 10 dollars richer, Boo – yah.   Tuesday was a very cool day, I went to all my classes, Did my mid term test, then went to the beach.The hardest part was at the beach my mates were having a couple of quiet beers, and i know i put this in my last blog, but i miss that, it’s harder to say no to having one or two beers then having a truck load because to be honest i find that that is one of the aspects of drinking, it can be definitely harmful to your health but the social aspect of going to the beach on a nice hot day and having a refreshing beer is one of the things i would love to do at this moment in time. Friday Night. RnV Origins, Dunedin Town Hall. Drunk people everywhere. And i think i had the best time of them all. Friday Night was pretty awesome with P-Money and the Blackseeds peforming as well as I am Giant and Knives at Noon. I had anawesome time dancing and working up a sweat which is pretty much the norm for me. I had an awesome time and decided to hit town afterwards with all my mates. My night started as usual but without the drunking, Going to my mates flat and chilling out, Listeneing to some dubstep and as they got more drunk and more out their own personallity’s i realised that when i drink i’m the same or a lot worse. But as we got kicked out of Arana we went down to Starters bar and i had a Red Bull and some raspberry and cokes. Pretty out there. Been a while since i had a Raspberry and coke at a bar.. Haha. Well I decided to do this and now people have already bet against me and told me they would give me a week eg. “your a fool” “I’ll see you in 3 months” and “I’ll bet ten bucks you won’t last a week”  - This has given me fuel towards my fire , not only am i getting 10 bucks in a week , but i absolutely love proving people wrong. So yeah. I’ve already been offered many beers and been laughed at, but this only makes me more resolute to change people’s thinking of myself and of drinking.   Cheers, Dan.
