Hi yall! I’m just over two months down of my personal HSM challenge. Essentially, I’m winning! I’m almost “bi-winning” with clinical prac going well and continuing to abstain from alcohol (Thankyou Charlie Sheen). However, the last two weeks have been very hard. To my surprise, I did not need to lock myself away from the world and sweat out the alcohol goodness that I have accumulated over the last 8 years. Some of my mates (i.e., Bo) have been massive sobriety assassins. Most of my friends are and continue to be surprised that I have lasted as long as I have. Thanks guys! I believe they’re starting to realize that I am not taking the piss and I generally want too succeed at the HSM challenge for the remaining month. Part 1: “The weekend athlete”

My name is Eddie and I’m a 24 year old Occupational Therapy student in my final year of study at UQ. I am also “studying” personal training (not doing a very good job at completing it!) when I get some free time as well as playing footy for Jeeps in Brisbane. Stuff I like doing – playing the guitar, surfing, reading & watching Dexter. I have wanted to do a HSM since I spent some time with Chris for a fairly hectic camping/partying trip last new years in Airlie Beach.
