Hey everyone I have survived 2 weeks and a day which has been hard (especially in the evenings where I am gagging for wine) but I heard it gets better so going to trudge on through. It\’s coming up to my friends birthday which means a night out, I am a bit worried about this as I think I will get tired and bored without alcohol, but I want to go out clubbing to celebrate. Does anyone have any tips on how to make it a good night without alcohol?

but I need to write everything out anyway! I started drinking at 13 (i am 21 now.) I would wait until my parents were out and attack the drinks cabinet, or pour bits of each bottle of spirits into a water bottle so I had something to drink at the weekend when I was out at the park with my friends. Needless to say, these little “mixtures” got me trashed. Even if I was at home during the weekend, I have memories of pouring out the glasses of wine (I was allowed to drink a bit with my parents; they believed if they exposed me to alcohol early and in moderation I wouldn’t become an alcoholic), downing mine, then pouring another.
