Time for a change

This morning I woke and decided that it is time to make a change. Read about this site (somewhere, cannot remember where exactly) and it seemed like a good way to share the experiences of others and get some support. Want to stay sober for one month and see where it takes me. The last two years I have been drinking a lot; with others and often by myself. Have experienced this gradual descent with the blinkers on and have borne the consequences through petty justifications for the cause. It’s only because I’m bored, will defintely change tomorrow, I don’t have a problem..etc Read an article in the paper a few days ago (in a bar) which gave 4 questiions doctors ask patients to se if they are alcoholics.
