My three months is up and.. well… I am (perhaps) the slackest HSM blogger ever. But I have an excellent excuse… I’ve been busy! When you don’t get wasted all the time and thus don’t get hungover all the time – you get shit done! The past three months have been extremely enjoyable and productive and I honestly attribute that to my choice to limit drinking. To reference my introductory blog, my choice to ‘lay off  the good stuff’ was driven by four main ‘concerns’.  The first two were addressed rapidly without effort – if you don’t drink, you don’t get hungover – if you don’t get hungover, you don’t have a  weak immune system – if you don’t have a weak immune system, you don’t get sick! A.M. show me what you got

It’s day 4 of my 3 month HSM. I spent day 1 hungover, day 2 thinking this ‘not drinking thing’ is a piece of piss and day 3 fangin’ for a glass of Pinot Grigio with my homemade Marinara. It is in the early hours of day 4 that I find the desire to reflect on why the hell I’m doing this. I’m doing it because I’ve never done it. Since I started drinking alcohol I’ve never had any sort of lengthy break from it. I drink every week, both responsibly and irresponsibly, both for flavour and for fun.
