The beginning of the end

I had begun my ‘booze free’ bender last monday after waking up with yet another hangover and very vague memories about what the hell happened last night. Once again a casual night of a few drinks had spun wickedly out of control and had left me hating the choices I had made and the events which followed. I had already begun my journey into sobriety when a friend mum posted a link to this week page so here I am. The beginning of the end – because everyone I seem to speak to makes out like I am now doomed to a life of boredom( and being boring) accompanied by a rapidly diminishing social life.
