Nearly 3 weeks down,just finished my first Bikram Yoga session and feeling very proud of myself.My focus is strong and just taking it one day at a time.Challenges are coming thick and fast,didn’t realize how often we as a society think that someone trying not to drink for a while is subjected to so much scrutiny,just makes me more determined to succeed,so thanks to everyone who has been giving me shit.By the way i have encountered numerous people who have encouraged me and said stay strong.Thankyou also.

hello sunday morning week 1

My first sunday morning without feeling crap!Feels great especially knowing that i got through my first social outing on sparkling apple juice,even if everyone thought it was cidar,because that is what i told them.My night was still enjoyable even when my mates started spilling bourbon over me.I did feel a bit sneaky not letting people know that i was’nt drinking alcohol,but hey it is week 1 and just wanted to see how i went without all the fuss.Next time i will proudly let them know what it is i’m doing.Heading off to beach for run,swim and brekky! speak soon radar009.

Today is my first day even though i signed up yesterday,this is because my friends dropped in yesterday for a few drinks.Yes i know that i had just committed to 12 weeks of no alcohol but i wasn’t expecting to be challenged so early on in the piece!
