If you read my first post you will realize I’m not a big drinker…just a binge drinker…so giving up alcohol for 3 months seems like a totally acheivable goal for me…but when it comes to sugar, I should probably go to AA for sugarholics! So in light of me giving up alcohol, well I might as well take this opportunity to be really healthy, if I’m going to wake up Sunday morning without a hangover, I also want to wake up without a headache from overindulging in sugar! So this is my challenge to myself…give up ALCOHOL and SUGAR for 3 months. Lots of people have said they have tried to give up the booze but have failed well the same is true for me and sugar (I’m talking about chocolate, cookies etc etc etc!!!)…so this time it’s going to work for me! Only a few days into this HSM and im cruising by! haha i have had gastro all week and alcohol was the last thing on my mind! Anyway this post is about how a decision can have an affect of those around you… Who would of thought me giving up alcohol would have brought with it so many gasps of horror from my friends and family! And its almost like they were disappointed in my decision and that I wont be drinking alcohol, like in some way its going to make me less fun and then they wont have as much fun! But I am determined to still do my crazy dance moves and still be just as much fun as before.   Its the weekend (well tomorrow) and its territory day tomorrow…a huge day and night in darwin and Im looking forward to the adventures…

I always thought I wasnt a big drinker…infact i actually still dont think i am a really big drinker…but i still drink a lot more than i should. I have just come back from bali…where the extension of australias drinking culture is more evident than ever…it is actually disgusting…all of these drunk australians on the streets and not at all respecting the culture and i cant help but think why did they bother leaving australia…just to hang out with other australians and drink ridiculously large amounts of alcohol.
