So Saturday was the 11 week mark for me, quite an achievement i feel! Longest I’ve ever gone in my adult life before is a month & that was over 5 years ago! Even thru out both Pregnancies I’d have a small glass of wine with dinner now & then & so never had complete abstinence.   So there i was pondering how i feel about it all, Feeling healthier: not really, better mindset: definitely, Missing hangovers: not at all! Missing random fun that usually comes with the drinking: Definitely, Missing Embarrassing events thru drunkenness: nope! 4 weeks in & so far not given in to temptation, & it hasn\’t been as hard as i imagined, though I’ve only really been out a few times, i have had plenty of opportunity to say \”I’d love one thanks\” but haven\’t, not really sure how i feel, when i read of others that feel great after only a few weeks i think there must be something (more  than the love of a drunk &  woozy feeling ) wrong with me? Don\’t get me wrong, i love waking up without a hangover & i definitely get more done, but therein lies half my problem i think! Well, it was my daughters 1st birthday & a few weeks back the invites went out to kids & adults alike for an all singing, all dancing arvo/evening of food/drink/party games & probably more drink, then i signed up for my HSM & oh how i wished I’d opted for a fairy themed morning tea party for a handful of babies & mums!  Very nervous about getting thru the whole thing without a drink & if so people asking me if i was “expecting my third” because i wasn’t drinking! The nearer the time of people arriving i was fairly confident I’d be fine, then OMG Chaos ensued, surely i didn’t invite that many people!! soooo many kids! Crap day at work, somehow managed to swing between brain drain & mind dumbingly boring! Picked kids up from Day care, youngest teething & no fun to be around, eldest as always exhausted & ratty! Get home make dinner for all, kids won\’t eat it, Their dad not any help what so ever as busy watching ben 10 ( kids cartoon) the cartoon that is stopping my son from eating his dinner, politely request it is turned off until dinners are eaten but no one can hear me over sheer volume, baby won\’t settle for the night, son knocks over his juice AND the replacement!! I scream like a lunatic above the TV for dinner to be eaten, finally it is. Try to put 3 yr old to bed usual senario ensues, chase round room ,argue over choice of pj\’s, fight to brush teeth, wants lots of books, not that one, this one [...]

Does anyone else have trouble uploading a profile pic or any tips on how to do it, everytime i try to select a pic to upload it maps the path from my pc as a “fake path” & gives me the message upload error?
