Have the good changes in my life started?

Just two weeks into HSM and a lot of thoughts have driven through my mind… I have commenced semester two of university not long ago, and I already find myself trying to puzzle together a strategy that will help me get through the semester. How much work will I put in? What do I want to get out of my degree? Do I have too much free time, and is that free time being put to good use? Having chosen to only take 3 subjects this semester, a busy week consists of 9 hours class, a quiet one just 4. This leaves me with an INCREDIBLE 159 hours to do the things I love. Freedom can quite simply be described as: “exemption from external control, interference and regulation.” Having 159 hours to myself every week leaves me thinking that in some aspects, I have QUITE a lot of freedom. Flying over Sydney, I farewelled Australia’s grey winter and prepared myself for my 3 week holiday in the city that never sleeps, Hong Kong. To say the least, I was both mentally and physically ready to drink myself under the table. Cutting a long story short, I did just that. The greater part of my life was spent in Hong Kong, and after a work-driven semester at university, it was time to go back home to re-live my childhood, where clubbing at the age of 14 meant that you had were already behind some. The challenge was accepted and the task was set in stone. After landing back in Sydney, all I had to do was get my head around the experience that I was about to engage in.
